Gimme The Damn Ball vs. Tiki Barber

The two books I've read for the year are Gimme the Damn Ball, by Keyshawn Johnson, and Tiki Barber, an autobiography. I decided to read these two books because first off, one of my favorite football plaers of all time is the former Jets Wide Reciever, named Keyshawn Johnson, who May have been the most conceited player of ALL TIME. Although he had great ability, people loved the talent he had, and was a living legend, most NFL fans hated that he would compare himself to the greatest wide reievers of all time, including Lynn Swann, and Jerry Rice, two NFL record holders. However, I respected the fact that Keyshaqn Johnson was cocky and the Ultimate of the flashy at the time, and had to let others know that. However, what I didnt like about his character was the fact that he was always the type to criticize the other Wide Recievers and Defensive backs style of gameplay and talent. For example, in one portion of the text, he speaks upon the 1st round draft pick wide reciever of the 2002 draft, Wayne Cherbet. Wayne obviously was a bust for the Jets, but he did enough to make a winning season. Keyshawn insulted him so badly that it alost turned into a fist fight. On the other hand, Tiki Barber is a more average athlete, but he did the job for the New York Giants. He also was the type to give credit to anyone and everyone, no matter how much they sucked, lol. These books are sort of boring to me, except the facts that it tells the stories of their lives.
